Grundpreis € 114,09 / Liter
2014 Chateau Latour a Pomerol - Pomerol AC, Bordeaux - Frankreich
Nicht selbst verkostet, daher James Molesworth (04/15): *A nice wine in the making, with velvety layers of raspberry, plum and boysenberry fruit, lined with subtle charcoal, warm ganache and tar notes. Features ample base notes, but manages to stay suave and elegant through the dark finish, revealing serious buried grip.* 93-96/100)

FalstaffFalstaff Magazin - 94pts - PM: *Kräftige Blättertöne. Leicht grünlich, aber auch frisch, Brombeerblätter, Preiselbeerkompott. Weicher, druckvoller Gaumen, präsente Gerbstoffe, mürb-körnig, mineralisch, dicht, stramm, nahezu fleischig, aber mürber, weniger Neigung zur Adstringenz, hintergründig saftig-nervig, superber Gehalt.* -04/2015

Antonio Galloni (vinous.com)Vinous.com - 95pts - AG: *Bright red cherry, raspberry and expressive floral notes from the Cabernet Franc are some of the signatures in the 2014 Latour à Pomerol. A wine of precision, tension and energy, the 2014 exudes class. Hints of white pepper and cranberry add further brightness as the wine gradually opens up. The 2014 has become more polished and finessed over the last two years than it was from barrel. Today, it is sublime.* -02/2017

Jancis RobinsonJancisRobinson.com - 17/20pts - JR: *Rich and dense quite a contrast to the more transparent La Grave tasted immediately before. Powerful, savoury and meaty. Lots of acidity and tannins with the fruit only just retaining the upper hand. Big and bold and with lovely texture. Very savoury, dense wine. Brooding. * -04/2015

Robert ParkerRobert Parker's Wine Advocate - 93pts - NM: *The 2014 Latour a Pomerol has a similar bouquet to the 2014 La Grave-à-Pomerol at first, yet there is immediately more intensity here, still tertiary with scents of warm gravel on a summer's day and black truffle developing with time in the glass. The palate is well structured, a solid backbone here that supports the layers of spicy blackberry and wild strawberry fruit. This is a Pomerol whereby the more I get to know it, the more I fall for its charms and appreciate that tension and energy on the finish. There is a real flourish to this Pomerol that surpasses its showing from barrel.* -03/2017

James SucklingJamesSuckling.com - 96pts - JS: *This is a traditional red with strawberry leaves, lemon rind and wet earth. Very aromatic. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a fruity, chocolate and walnut character. Always refined yet powerful. Better in 2022.* -02/2017

VinumVinum Magazin 16/20pts: *Vergnüglich-fruchtige Aromatik, geschmeidig-frischer Bau, fruchtiges Himbeerfinale; der Bilderbuch-Pomerol, der immer und jedem Freude macht.*
